    The following pages will provide some more information about the studio and our appointment process, followed by a short form for you to provide your details. 

    Please note, this is not an apprenticeship opportunity.

  • What We Offer  

     

    We will be including both you and your tattoos in our paid Google Ads for the local area, as well as promoting your work through our social media.

     

    We will provide all of the consumable items you will need at the studio, we just ask that you buy your own needles/cartridges, ink & gloves. Everything we use at the studio is disposable, so unfortunately we can't accomodate any equipment being used that would require an autoclave.

     

    You will have your own station in the shared treatment room.

     

    We offer flexible rates to cover our overheads: either 30% of your appointment fee, or we can arrange a flat weekly rate if you would prefer.

     

    You will have the full use of our online booking system.

     

    The studio is fully wheelchair accssible, including the bathroom.

  • Who We're Looking For

     

    It's important that you have an existing local client base to build upon, as we don't offer walk-ins, but we will include you and your work in our paid Google Ads as well as promoting your work on our social media pages.

     

    We would like to find somebody who has 3-years studio experience, although this can be flexible.

     

    Ideally we would like to find someone who specialises in a style of work that isn't the same as our existing artists but this isn't a dealbreaker, and is something we're happy to discuss. 

     

    Either full-time or part-time artists will be considered.

     

    Most importantly, we're looking for somebody who is a nice person ❤️

  •  The Studio

     

    The studio is located just a 10 minute walk from Barry Docks Station, nearby several bus stops, with free parking on all the adjacent streets.

    The studio is open to our clients from 11am-5pm, and while these are not set in stone, we would ask that your appointments fit approximately within this timeframe. Kris & Lala usually arrive at the studio for 9:30am each day to set up for their clients.

    Ebony Squid Studio is an inclusive space for people of all races, ethnic backgrounds, body types, neurotypes, and sexual & gender identities.

     

    The studio is fully wheelchair accessible, including the toilet.

     

    All of our team are neurodivergent, have invisible disabilities, and identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. They will always endeavour to treat their clients with respect and empathy during their time at the studio and we would expect any of our resident artists to align with these values.
