  • Travel

The workshop plan is to explore the Adirondacks together, traveling to new locations. Below is a list of POTENTIAL locations/topics covered each week. We recognize that we live in a rural community and travel can be a barrier. As we are building these workshops we are trying to find the best way we can support families. Please let us know what would be helpful.

  • Research

In working to learn from and improve these workshops, we will be conducting research to examine its effectiveness with the goal of improving educational family programming nationwide. Families will be asked to provide feedback about the workshops through surveys and virtual interviews. Families will receive a stipend for participating in the workshop series, gas cards to cover transportation costs, and lunch will be provided at each workshop. Please contact Debbie Siegel at debbie.siegel@freechoicelearning.org with any questions about the research.
