  • Hybrid Thinking

At Jump, hybrid thinking doesn’t just mean working across functions or teams. It means holding in one brain the tools of three distinct disciplines: business strategy, design, and social science.
  • Business Strategy: You may have worked in consulting, corporate strategy, or market analysis, or trained in economics, finance, or business.

Design: You trained in industrial or product design, practiced visual thinking, prototyped ideas, or worked through making.

Social Science: You’ve likely studied psychology, sociology, or anthropology, or have conducted ethnographic interviews, fieldwork, or pattern analysis to understand how people think, feel, and behave.

We don’t expect fluency in all three, but we’re looking for clear signs across each: strong experience in at least one, meaningful exposure to a second and clear interest in the third.

Help us see the fuller picture. Use the space below to briefly point out ways you've engaged with each discipline we might not immediately see in your resume - in your work, studies, or personal practice. 30 words or less please, bullets are fine!
