We understand that it might seem a bit lengthy at first, and you may wonder, “Are all these questions really necessary?” We once thought the same thing when we were in your shoes! Every puppy we raise is lovingly cared for in our home alongside our children, and we’re dedicated to finding families who will cherish and care for them just as much as we do.

We know every family is unique, and there are no “right” or “wrong” answers here. We fully understand that many families have two working adults, and we don’t expect anyone to quit their job or be a superhero to bring home a puppy. This application simply helps us understand your needs and lifestyle so we can match each puppy with the best possible home. If you’re an experienced dog owner, we won’t overwhelm you with information you already know. But if this is your first puppy, we want to make sure you feel fully prepared for the joys and challenges of life with a new furry family member!

If the puppy is being purchased as a gift, please provide details (e.g., the recipient’s age, their awareness of the commitment involved in raising a doodle, and whether the dog will live with you or the recipient). We generally discourage our puppies being surprise gifts, as puppies require significant long-term responsibility, work, and expenses. Each situation will be evaluated individually, and further discussions may be necessary.*

OWNERSHIP COMMITMENT
Do you agree to maintain your pup's health as necessary? In addition to being spayed or neutered, regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations and de-worming are essential to maintaining a healthy dog.*
Are you prepared to commit to a consistent grooming routine, including full grooming sessions every 6-8 weeks? Doodles require regular grooming to keep their coats healthy and free of mats. Between grooming appointments, frequent brushing and occasional baths are essential to prevent matting, which can be uncomfortable or even painful for your dog and furthermore make routine grooming more challenging.*
Do you agree to have your puppy spayed or neutered between 6 and 12 months of age? Our puppies come with a strict no breeding policy outlined in our contract.*
Are you prepared to pay a $300 deposit to first select, and later, hold your puppy?*
Do you agree to stay in touch and share occasional updates and photos with us? We love maintaining contact with our puppy families to see how the puppy is growing and thriving in their new home. It also allows us to ensure the dog is happy, healthy, and living their best life with the care and love they deserve.*
References - Please provide the name, phone number and email for two references. We prefer that they're dog related, but understand that some applicants may not have previous dog experience. Some examples of references could be: Previous Breeders, Trainers, Vets, Acquaintances, etc.*
