Jackson Butts County NAACP Scholarship Program
The Jackson Butts County NAACP is accepting applications from high school students who will be graduating this spring, for the 2026 Youth Scholarship. A complete application package must be submitted to the Scholarship Committee no later than April 24, 2026. The package consists of a completed scholarship application, form, a written essay, an official school transcript, a completed certification of academic standing form, letter of community service and at least one personal recommendation.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN April 24, 2026. ANY POSTMARKED
AFTER APRIL 24, 2026 WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE.
Eligibility Requirements Applicants must be a compliant (active) member with NAACP (Youth Membership $10 up to age 18, $30 per year over age 18) Applicants must be graduating from an accredited education institution. Applicants must have applied for admission into at least one accredited institution of higher learning for the Fall of 2026 school term Applicant must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicant must provide at least one letter of recommendation and one letter of verification of community service participation. Recommendation(s) can be from the following : an official of the current school, community organization, church or employer. Applicant must reside within the Jackson Butts County area.
