Permissions and limitations in sharing your work
We’re delighted to finally be able to expand our digital library into printed form and are planning spring and summer pop-ups at various sites, including parks, bookstores, art and community spaces. The first of these activations will take place as a reading room and nimble publishing studio at the Printed Matter (printedmatter.org) bookstore this spring. As always, projects we facilitate which take place in partnership with nonprofits aim to redirect resources toward the building of autonomous networks of support beyond the nonprofit industrial complex. Contributors are invited to opt-in to share their materials as part of future IRL pop-ups and/or limit the sharing of their works in accordance with their needs.
Would you like your materials to be included in future spaces of study and in-person library pop-ups at bookstores, parks, art and community spaces? Are there any limitations you'd like to place on the sharing of your work (i.e. online only, in-print only)?
This Spring, the Center will be hosting an iteration of our library around the themes of Ungovernable Study within the Printed Matter NYC bookstore. In the library, visitors will have access to a photocopier to make readers for personal use. Would you like your materials to be included here?
If you said yes to including your materials in future physical iterations of our library: Would you like us to create the printed iteration of your work? Or do you prefer to mail us your own copies? If mailing your copies, please let us know around when we should expect them or provide a tracking number below. Thank you so much!
Mailing Instructions
If choosing to mail us a printed iteration of your work, please send us a copy to the following address: kimi malka hanauer, 43-40 34th Street, Floor 2, Long Island City, NY 11101.
