NEWTRACKS@FBAS 2026

Candidates should submit: a short CV, one or more scores and, where available, audio and/or videorecordings of previously composed works; a brief artistic proposal (maximum onepage) describing the idea for the new composition they would create if selected. The selected composer will then be invited to write a new work of up to 5minutes in duration. While works scored for three voices (SSB), two violins and basso continuo are particularly welcome, applicants may also submit works for any combination of voices and/or instruments, including solo works. The continuo group may include harpsichord, positive organ, viola da gamba,cello, double bass, theorbo and archlute. Applicants who already have suitable compositions may submit them as part of their application. These works will also be considered for performance by the Festival.  The application form and all required materials must be submitted by August 10, 2026.
