2025 Ronald E. McNair Scholarship Application

Purpose: To identify high school seniors in Lake City, South Carolina, who possess a strong desire for academic excellence, leadership positions, and plan on pursuing a higher education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Math at a college or university of their choice.

Reward: One student selected from Lake City Early College High School and J. Paul Truluck Creative Arts and Science Magnet School who applies will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for financial assistance for college.

Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this award:

- A graduating senior at Lake City Early College High School and J. Paul Truluck Creative Arts and Science Magnet School who completes the application online by the deadline date listed below.

- A graduating senior at Lake City Early College High School and J. Paul Truluck Creative Arts and Science Magnet School who is pursuing a college degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Math.

- Complete a narrative of no more than 250 words, discussing the following:
