• ON-DEMAND PAY AGREEMENT

  • This document outlines the terms and conditions of Silver Home Care's optional On-Demand Pay program, which provides employees with the flexibility to access a portion or all of their earned wages before the standard payday.

    Effective March 1st, a nominal transaction fee will be introduced for employees who choose to utilize the On-Demand Pay service. This fee is intended to offset the administrative costs associated with offering this program.

    Participation in the On-Demand Pay program is entirely voluntary. Employees who prefer to receive their full wages on the standard payday will not incur any fees.

    To enroll in the On-Demand Pay program or to continue participation after March 1st, please review and sign the agreement provided below.

  • This On-Demand Pay Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Silver Home Care, (“Company”) and [   *   *   ] (“Employee”), for the purpose of allowing Employee to access earned wages prior to the standard payday, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

  • 1. Voluntary Participation

    Participation in the On-Demand Pay service is entirely voluntary. Employees who choose not to utilize this service will receive their full wages on the standard payday without any deductions related to this service. You may opt in or out at any time. 

    2. Eligibility

    To be eligible for On-Demand Pay, employees must have completed the shifts corresponding to the wages they wish to access early. 

    3. Service Fees

    Each On-Demand Pay transaction incurs a service fee, which is a convenience fee and not an interest or finance charge.

    4. Employee Acknowledgments

    By signing below, I acknowledge that:

    • On-Demand Pay provides early access to earned wages for completed shifts and is not a loan.
    • Participation in this service is optional; I may choose to receive my full wages on the standard payday without incurring any fees.
    • I have had the opportunity to ask questions about this Agreement and have received satisfactory answers.
    • I understand that this Agreement does not constitute a contract of employment and does not alter the at-will nature of my employment.

    5. Termination of Agreement

    Silver Home Care reserves the right to modify or discontinue the On-Demand Pay program at any time. Employees will be notified of any changes in writing.

    6. Governing Law & Compliance

    This Agreement complies with all applicable federal and state wage laws, including the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law, and shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

  • Standard Pay Schedule
    The pay period starts every Saturday and ends the following Friday.

    Standard Payday: We pay weekly.  Wages for a completed pay period are issued the next Friday (i.e., one week after the pay period ends).

    All On-Demand Pay transactions made before the standard payday are subject to the fee schedule below beginning March 1, 2025.

  • I understand that:

    • This authorization allows Silver Home Care to make deductions only when I request On-Demand Pay.
    • If I do not request On-Demand Pay, my paycheck will be processed as usual with no deductions.
    • Deductions will apply only to wages I have already earned and have chosen to access early.

    On-Demand Pay is only available for completed shifts. All required documentation must be submitted and approved before a shift is eligible for payout.

    Requests must be submitted by 3:00 PM for same-day Cash App or Venmo payments and next-day direct deposits.

    If your work hours on Friday conclude after 3pm, you are not eligible to be paid for that day until Monday. 

    Deposit processing times vary by bank or payment provider. Silver Home Care processes payments as requested, but we are not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment services, or financial institutions.

    Employees must ensure their payment details are correct. Silver Home Care is not responsible for payments sent to incorrect accounts due to outdated or inaccurate information provided by the employee.

    If a payment is sent to a closed, overdrawn, or incorrect account, Silver Home Care is not responsible for any resulting fees or delays. It is the employee's responsibility to update their payment method if needed.

    Changes to your On-Demand Pay preferences must be submitted by noon no later than the day before the deposit is scheduled. 

    Once a payment is processed, it cannot be canceled or reversed.

    All On-Demand Pay transactions are subject to the applicable service fees.

    On-Demand Pay is a courtesy service and is not guaranteed. Silver Home Care reserves the right to modify or discontinue this service at any time.
