Chamber Ribbon Cutting Interest Form

Let us help you celebrate your new business, grand opening, grand re-opening, milestone anniversary, or new location. Ribbon Cuttings are available Monday through Thursday from 9:00-4:00pm, and Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm.

• The cost of a Ribbon Cutting is $100, available to Chamber Members only
• Ribbon Cutting ceremony with use of the Chamber "BIG" scissors and blue ribbon
• Chamber staff and volunteer Chamber Ambassadors in attendance to celebrate with you and your guests
• Invitation sent to local elected officials (upon your request)
• Ribbon Cutting displayed on the Chamber's event calendar at grandhavenchamber.org
• Chamber provided media contact list for your promotional use
• Chamber staff photographer on hand to take photos of your event that will be shared with you
• Promotional announcement for your event in the Chamber eNews, social media, and Chamber Newsroom at grandhavenchamber.org (3-week notice required)
• Chamber social media post following your event with photos to congratulate you on your celebration
• Congratulations announcement with photos following your event in the Chamber eNews

Ribbon Cutting Guidelines

• Ribbon cuttings are your event. The Chamber is on hand to celebrate with you. Additional promotion of your event to increase attendance and awareness of your celebration outside of those mentioned above are your responsibility. Please do not rely solely on the Chamber to attract your audience.
• Please determine in advance who you would like in your photo and where you would like the ribbon cutting and photos to take place.
• The Chamber staff will take photos however we are not professional photographers. If you would like additional photos of your celebration and attendees, we encourage you to utilize a professional photographer.
• Any food and beverage provided is your responsibility and we would be happy to share a listing of chamber member catering organizations with you.
