**Volunteer Agreement**
This Volunteer Agreement (“Agreement”) is made as of the date indicated below by The Dog Stays (TDS).**WHEREAS,** the Volunteer has proactively approached and expressed a desire to engage in volunteer activities for The Dog Stays.In consideration of TDS granting the Volunteer the opportunity to view and/or interact with pets under TDS's care, weather in TDS'S custody or through an outreach program, the Volunteer hereby represents and warrants, for themselves and their heirs and personal representatives, as follows:1. The Volunteer acknowledges full awareness of the potential risks associated with interacting with dogs and voluntarily elects to engage with one or more dogs in the care of or in the outreach programs of TDS. The Volunteer understands and accepts all risks that such exposure may entail, including but not limited to the possibility of serious bodily injury and/or death.2. The Volunteer hereby waives, releases, discharges, holds harmless, and agrees not to initiate legal proceedings against TDS, its directors, officers, volunteers, staff, and all other agents, as well as any parties acting on behalf of the aforementioned entities, for any rights or claims the Volunteer may have or may acquire in the future. This includes any damages that may be sustained, directly or indirectly, in connection with or arising out of the Volunteer’s exposure to said dogs.By signing below, the Volunteer acknowledges their understanding and acceptance of the terms outlined in this Agreement.
