Entrepreneurs, this is your time to shine!
The 7th SIAL Canada Pitch Competition highlights game-changing solutions that focus on sustainability, food waste reduction, and food safety, offering promising growth potential in the North American market.
This flagship event will spotlight 15 promising entrepreneurs from the Start-up Village, ready to accelerate their growth.
The competition will unfold across three distinct categories, each featuring 5 entrepreneurs, with 1 winner per category:
🔹 Start-up Seed CPG (0–3 years old) – Early-stage startups in the consumer goods sector.
🔹 Start-up CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) – Innovative food & beverage products.
🔹 Start-up FoodTech – Cutting-edge technologies and services for the food industry.
Each participant will have 2 minutes and 30 seconds to pitch their vision to a jury of industry experts, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.
When? The Pitch Competition will take place on Wednesday, April 30th

🔹 Contest opening and judges introduction – 9:30 am
🔹 Pitch Start-up Seed CPG – 9:40 – 10:25 am
🔹 Pitch Start-up CPG – 10:30 – 11:15 am

🔹 Award Ceremony – 12:30 pm
Eligibility Criteria
✅ Food & Beverage start-ups: $50,000 – $1,000,000 CAD in annual revenue.
