  • Friday Evening Sessions — Important Notice to All Parents & Carers

We want everyone to enjoy Friday evenings at Ewhurst Cricket Club. To help us keep things safe and running smoothly for all families, please read and take note of the following:

    * Only children who are registered to take part in the evening coaching sessions should be in the coaching area while sessions are in progress. All other children should remain in the designated area near to the clubhouse.

    * During coaching sessions, our coaches and volunteers are responsible only for registered participants within the structured session. Ewhurst Cricket Club and its coaches and volunteers accept no liability for any injury, loss or incident involving children outside of that supervised session.

    * Once the coaching session has finished, full responsibility for your child/children passes entirely to you as the parent or carer. Children are welcome to use the whole ground at that point but please keep them off the wicket square.
Please be mindful of potential hazards around the ground, including the net areas, sightscreens and trees. Children should not play unsupervised in or around these areas.

  • Children's Play Area

We have a designated children's play area near the clubhouse (including Wendy houses, slides and outdoor toys) which is there for younger children and families to enjoy during match days and club evenings.

To keep this a safe and enjoyable space, please note the following:

The play area is designated for children aged 6 and under. Older children are welcome to accompany a younger sibling but must do so considerately and without causing damage or disruption.

Parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children in this area at all times. Please do not leave young children unattended.

Any damage caused to play equipment or club property may result in the family being asked to contribute to repair costs.

Membership Suspension Notice: Ewhurst Cricket Club reserves the right to suspend or revoke the membership of any child who repeatedly misuses the children's play area, causes damage to club property, or engages in behaviour that puts other children at risk. This policy also applies where a parent or carer repeatedly fails to supervise their children or address behaviour after having been notified by a club official. Membership revocation will be without refund.
