Travel notes
Although we are unable to assist with travel costs, we are happy to provide letters of invitation to those of you considering applying for travel funding from your local arts organization. We will do our best to provide or arrange transportation from MSP airport.

Format
Our Friday show will be in-person in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and will be live-streamed on Zoom.

The Saturday show will be presented via Zoom with pre-recorded performances and a live emcee hosting from their respective locations.

We will also be partnering with individuals and organizations across the globe to co-host official in-person watch parties. All content will be available for rent or purchase after being edited and captioned.

Show preferences

Shows are approximately 2 hours. For the Friday in-person show, we ask that you are dressed and ready to go in the greenroom 30 minutes prior to the show to do a final check-in. For the Saturday virtual show, we ask that you be online 30 minutes prior to the show for a final tech check.

A note on our 2024 virtual show format:

The Saturday 2024 show will be presented via pre-recorded content. You will emcee as if it is a live show.

Your video must meet the following requirements:

• Cameras must be positioned horizontally
• Good lighting
• No background noise
• No one else in the video unless they are acting as an assistant and have been given permission to be in the video

Behind the Scenes Opportunities

This application is for Performers - but there will be opportunities to support the DisabiliTease Festival behind the scenes as well. 

Examples: writing press releases, engaging sponsors, helping organize watch parties or workshops, video editing, etc.
