Membership Terms & Conditions
Membership Fees – All Membership fees are listed on the applicable fee schedule. Fees are subject to change with minimum one month notice. It is the members responsibility to check the current fee schedule for specific pricing information.
Payment – CrossFit Tempered Members will make payments in advance on an agreed monthly, fortnightly or weekly direct debit payment plan. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available. If the amount debited is returned unpaid, members will be liable to pay the full amount plus any Direct Debit fees and bank related charges.
Session Bookings/Cancellations/Re-bookings – All sessions for CrossFit Tempered must booked online by using our online booking system ‘Push Press’. This is available by downloading the ‘Push Press Members’ mobile app or through the members tab of our website. Priority is given to members that book using the booking facility. In the event that a member is unable to attend a booked session, then member must cancel at their earliest convenience, non-attendance for a booked class will result in that class been 'used'.
Membership Holds - All memberships are entitled to hold their membership for periods of minimum seven days and up to four weeks. Memberships on hold for longer than four weeks will be considered cancelled. If the hold is longer due to medical reasons an exemption may be made. Members wishing to suspend their membership must fill in the Membership Holds form located on the CFT website at least 7 days prior.
Membership Cancellation/ Changes – Membership changes can be submitted at any time. Cancellation requests must be received no less than 7 days in writing via Membership Cancellation form located on the CFT website. Members have the right to use all of the time they have paid up to, there are no refunds or transfer to other members on unused membership portions.
Adherence under Coaching – The CrossFit Tempered Coaching staff are experts in the fitness industry. Our qualifications far exceed the industry standard to train our members, as such it is a requirement of all members to comply with the Coaching staff direction and guidance. The Coaching staff will always be seeking optimal movement and form that is suited for you.
Children – While Children are welcome at our facility, parents are responsible for their children at all times. There is a child safe area where children can wait while parents are training. This area is not supervised. Parents are to attend to their children as required. Children are not permitted in the training area during class times or in the car parks at any time. Parents will be asked to remove non-compliant children.
Regulation - Management reserves the right to suspend or expel any member for
failing to comply with CrossFit Tempered rules, for improper conduct, or conduct
detrimental to the safety and best interests of CrossFit Tempered.
Media Release Waiver - I am aware that CrossFit Tempered may record workouts for later use on television segments, websites, promotional materials, fitness info products, or in any other way they deem fit. By accepting these terms and conditions document, I hereby authorise CrossFit Tempered to use my name and likeness, voice, verbal statements, digital pictures, and video and audio recordings for any of the aforementioned purposes. We will not use a direct photo of you without expressed permission.
Disclaimer - During your exercise program, every effort will be made to ensure your safety. However, as with any exercise program, there are risks, including increased heart stress and the chance of musculoskeletal injuries. In volunteering for this program, you assume responsibility for these risks and waive any possibility for personal damage. You also agree that, to your knowledge, you have no limiting physical conditions or disability that would preclude an exercise program. It is your responsibility to report any injuries or concerns to the Coaching staff immediately when they happen. If you do have any medical issues that may be of concern, you further agree that an expert in that field i.e., physiotherapist, medical doctor, chiropractor or other specialist, has cleared you to participate in a training and nutrition program. By accepting these terms and conditions, you accept full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing and you acknowledge an understanding that the leaders of this program assume no responsibility.
Authorisation - I hereby agree to abide by the rules/regulations and term/conditions of CrossFit Tempered and agree to pay the appropriate membership fee. I have read and understand the terms and conditions and acknowledge my membership is nontransferable. CrossFit Tempered management reserves the right to rescind the rights of members not complying with the conditions of the membership.
