Wherefore ART Thou?: Tuesdays until 2:15 PM

Let your imagination soar as we get creative with ART! Our budding artists will discover artists, past and present, as they experiment with different creative styles and media from Monet or Warhol. Push up your sleeves, don your smocks, and let your imagination take flight. Are you feeling inspired yet?

Artful Adventures!: Wednesdays until 2:15 PM

Embark on an imaginative journey as we explore the world of Art! Our young artists will discover the magic of art while learning about famous artists and developing new skills. Through engaging stories and techniques, children will be introduced to a different artist, from Vincent Van Gogh to Frida Kahlo, each week. Our young artists will create fun art projects that incorporate the styles and skills of the artists they study. Let’s discover the magic together in Artful Adventures!

Baking

Mixin’ It!: Mondays or Tuesdays until 2:15 PM

Get the flour flowing as we prep for Mixin’ It! Creativity is the recipe for a whole lot of fun while we measure, mix, sift, and count cookies, cakes or muffins…with lots of fun surprises along the way. All we “knead” are excited helping hands to get the dough rolling. With the life skills learned and the confidence that will come, your family’s new little chef will be over the moon pie when all is said and done. So, let’s GET COOKIN’! 

Pickleball

Pickleball Anyone?!: Mondays or Thursdays until 2:15 PM

We're serving up some serious fun with our brand-new Pickleball class just for FCPCPS! This class will introduce our young players to the game in an active, engaging, and kid-friendly environment. Learn the fundamentals of Pickleball while developing essential skills like hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and teamwork. The rules are simple, so grab a paddle and have a ball with friends!

We are delighted to share that Pickleball will be led by acclaimed coach, Mark Haffner, of On Your Mark Tennis. Mark has had over 20 years of teaching experience in tennis and racket sports.

A heartfelt thank you goes to GAMMA Sports for generously donating paddles and balls to our program. We encourage you to seek out products from this Pittsburgh based, international company for your racket sports needs.

Sewing

Sewing New Memories: Wednesdays until 2:15 PM

Boost your child’s creativity, confidence, and fine motor skills with the practical art of sewing! Beginning with simple projects, children will build on their skills as they weave, cut, and hand sew beautiful creations. By the end of the school year, children will design and create their own stuffed animals! Join us for afternoons of sewing fun!

STEAM 

Full STEAM Ahead!: Wednesdays or Thursdays until 2:15 PM

Grab your lab coat, adjust your goggles, and get ready for STEAM! Preschoolers are natural scientists and engineers, bursting with questions about how the world works. By examining animal behaviors, simple coding, and chemical reactions...mixed with a healthy dose of Art...voila!, answers will be discovered. It is Full STEAM Ahead for our inquisitive students as they pursue answers to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. 

*Afternoon class price:  $450 per semester, Pickleball $500 per semester. To be billed along with tuition and due prior to the start of the Fall 2025 semester. Classes will roll over into the Spring semester unless otherwise requested by parents. Classes will be billed along with semester tuition and due upon receipt.

 

*Afternoon classes are open to our Threes and PreK classes. Students must be independent when using the restroom. All students will supply lunch. Morning class teachers will escort students to their lunchroom. 

 

*These enrichment classes are offered to be in addition to your child’s Extended Days which are intended as an integral part of your child’s morning class. Please sign up for these enrichment classes on the days your child is not already signed up for an extended day.
