Information

The Community Chorus at Upper Valley Music Center aims to create a welcoming space where singers can enhance their skills in a fun choral community. We believe there is a place for everyone to sing and that singing is a skill that can be learned by most anyone. We sing for fun and wellness at UVMC, drawing on an eclectic variety of choral music to nourish, invigorate, empower, and connect.

Community Chorus weekly rehearsals take place in two locations, with morning and evening options available. The two rehearsal sections come together for a full-day annual retreat in October, and combined dress rehearsals and performances throughout the year.

Tuesday at Lebanon High School band room in Lebanon from 6 - 8:00 p.m.

Thursdays at UUCUV in Norwich 10:00 am - 12 pm.

Our membership fee is intentionally kept low so that our chorus can be a place that truly welcomes people of diverse economic backgrounds. If you are able, please consider making a tax-deductible gift in addition to your membership fee. The cost of each seat is approximately $220 per semester. We rely on your generosity to be able to run the chorus. The Community Chorus is a program of the Upper Valley Music Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
