Did you know that most of the basic records you need to discover information about your Irish ancestor’s origins are online? You don’t need to go to Dublin and spend your vacation hunting for documents in libraries. With some basic background research and knowledge of what to expect from Irish records, you can soon be ready to walk in your ancestors’ footsteps. In this presentation, professional genealogist Lisa Dougherty will share tips and strategies from 30 years of experience in tracing Irish families. Free and open to the public.
We have moved this event to the Community Room to accommodate more participants. A computer is not necessary, but you may wish to bring your own device to explore some of the resources Lisa will introduce.
