    Rules & Regulations

  • Payment:

-All new students are required to pay a $50 registration fee. If the student withdraws from lessons for any length of time they will be required to pay a new registration fee upon starting lessons again.

-All current students are required to pay a $10 supply and maintenance fee once a year in the month of February (if a student started lessons within 3 months of February they are exempt).

-Lesson fees are as follows: $25/30min and $50/1hr.

-Payments are due in full for the entire month. Weekly payments are not accepted.
*Venmo/Zelle payments are due on the first of the month. Everyday that passes that payment is not received will incur a $5 late fee. All electric forms of payment also included at $5 convenience every month.
*Cash payments are due at the first lesson of the month. Everyday that passes that payment is not received will incur a $5 late fee. Convenience fees are not required for cash payments.
*Card payments will NOT be accepted.

-The monthly total may change depending on how many days are in the month.

-Payments cannot move between months, between different students, or be credited to another teacher.

-If a student misses a lesson without notifying their teacher it is considered at NO CALL NO SHOW and will incur a $10 inconvenience fee.

-Students are responsible for paying for all lesson dates (even if the student is not present). The only time a student is not financially responsible for the lesson date is if the teacher is unable to attend.

-If a student is wanting to withdraw from lessons they are expected to let their teacher know immediately. They can choose to either finish the month or withdraw immediately without refund.

-All lessons and fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. There are no exceptions.

-If payments are late on a regular basis the teacher reserves the right to remove the student from the schedule. Any students unable or unwilling to comply with all rules regarding payment will be removed from the schedule and barred from attending lessons with other teachers.

    Scheduling:

-All rescheduling must be discussed before the first of the month. Once the month has started there will be no rescheduling for any reason.

-If your student is sick or unable to attend lessons due to extenuating circumstances the student must contact the teacher 24 hours in advance as well as present correct documentation (doctor excuse, obituary, etc.). Failure to contact the teacher 24 hours in advance or to obtain correct documentation will result in a loss of lesson payment and the lesson will not be rescheduled.

-Students may not reschedule more than one lesson per month. To reschedule a lesson you must follow the two rules as seen above. There are no exceptions. If the student exceed the number of reschedules a month it will result in a loss of lesson payment and the lesson will not be rescheduled.
-Teachers have final say in how a lesson is to be rescheduled. Lessons may be moved to an online platform, moved to a different time and day, or tagged on to existing lesson to create an extended lesson.

-If a teacher is unable to attend lessons for any reason they will get the lesson rescheduled as quickly as possible and contact the student(s) involved.

-Students should attend lessons regularly. Students that are tardy, absent, or miss long periods of time regularly may be removed from the schedule. Any students unable or unwilling to comply with all rules regarding scheduling will be removed from the schedule and barred from attending lessons with other teachers.

    Expectations:

-Students should arrive 5 minutes early to all lessons.

-Students are required to bring necessary materials and equipment to all lessons. Failure to do so many result in the cancellation of the lesson without rescheduling.

-If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late to any lesson they will not be allowed in the classroom and the lesson will not be rescheduled.

-Students are expected to keep good attitudes for the duration of all lessons.

-If a student damages, scratches, or destroys a teacher's instrument, book, piece of furniture, or any other property, they are required to pay the cost of damage.

-All teachers reserve the right to remove any student from the schedule if their work, attitude, attendance, or payments do not follow expectations.
