    The IMIrJ Sanctuary Fund provides monetary grants to support the organization’s (im)migrant justice work. This includes support for individuals and families and stipends for hosts negativley impacted by the immigration system. 

    Source of Funds

    IMIrJ solicits funds from the community using various outreach methods. Donations to IMIrJ may be designated to fund the IMIrJ Sanctuary Fund.

    Decision Making

    Funds are granted based on current needs, priorities, and capacity. Applications are accepted from people who reside in Oregon only. We prioritize applications from organizations that we work with.

    We try to respond to requests within one week of submission and send payment within ten working days of approval if the grant is approved. For large grant requests, a portion of the grant request may be approved.

    Decisions made by IMIrJ are final.

    This section provides information about the grant Recipient. Who will receive the grant if approved? How will you receive the grant? If the request is for rent or hotel expenses, the recipient must be the rental agency of the hotel.

    If approved, we need to know how to deliver the grant. Provide the Recipient's Name Address City, State, Zip Code. If your request is for rental assistance, security deposits, or hotel room costs, the rental agency or hotel information, manager's name, and address must be listed here. If the request is for commissary money, please provide the recipient's name and A# in the "Other Disbursement Information" field. If the request is for utilities support, please include the utility company, account number, and zip code in the "Other Disbursement Information" field.
