2025 Non-Profit/Community Organization Application for European Market Logo
  • Nonprofit + Community Organization Application for European Market 2025

  • The Chesterton's European Market would like to invite you to apply for our 2025 market season. Celebrate our 22nd year of bringing the best offerings of the region. Chesterton's European Market has been a staple in Northwest Indiana since it opened in 2003, set in the center of the business district and main park.

We will highlight one nonprofit per week at the market and on social media with over 22k followers, providing an opportunity to showcase your mission, products, or services to our community.

  • General Rules:

Depending on what you plan on bringing to the market, please keep in mind these general rules to operate in the market:

    • Anything to sell - ensure you have your business license, if required and payment options for customers (cell service is very good in the area for cc payments).
    • Any food items will need to be vetted through the Porter County Health Deptartment, if cooked, baked or needs cold/heat to keep fresh.
    • Raffles will require an Indiana License, unless it is an item you are giving away without cost. Proof of permit needs to be submitted prior to date.
    • Asking for donations (money or items collected), please remember to bring a donation slip for anyone asking for a tax document.
    • Please be mindful of the other vendors, do not shout at visitors as they pass by, stand in front of other vendors' tent spaces or walk around the market to solicit sales. You may stand outside of your own tent and provide information/sales pitch.
    • All booths require at least one adult, if a children's organization.
    • If you have a large standing sign, you may put in front of your booth on Broadway.
    • Booth assignments are limited to one date per organization for the season, the Market Director will work with you to schedule date.
    • Space is free to approved applications.
  • We will be in touch with you soon regarding your application, approval and confirming date we are able to schedule your group to attend. If approved, additional instructions, set up and map will be provided to you before you attend the market.
