This waitlist form is for Summer 26-27 season. We don't roll over the waitlist for future seasons.
Most teams for summer are already full (U8, U9, U11, U13 and Open are full and closed). We recommend contacting other clubs to find out if they have vacancies. At this stage, spots will only become available if we get any last minute cancellations.
Players should be 7 years old to start playing, we recommend that 6 year olds are too young to play in this competition as we use full height goal posts and don't use modififed rules for younger players.
Glenunga Netball Club is a volunteer run club. We can only nominate as many teams that we have coaches for. All Coaches are parent volunteers. Coaches needs to run games and compulsory training sessions for winter. In summer, there is NO compulsory training.
We only have 2 home courts for winter season, so are limited in the amount of teams we can nominate.
If you are willing to commit to volunteer for active Coaching role or an active committee role, you will get preference of spots on the waitlist (we always need more Coaches and committee members).
There is no guarantee you will be placed in a specific team with friends. We do run trials and grade players on many different factors. Friendship groups are not our main consideration. Teams change from season to season as children develop at different rates and as they age into the next age groups at different times. Children need to be willing to accept that the teams don't stay the same season after season.
All parents are required score and time games as rostered and act as court supervisor once each winter season when rostered to do so. This is a requirement of all parents with children joining the club.
