Warren Servant Leader Covenant
Servant-Leaders are vital to the ministry and mission of Warren. They represent the church, contributing to the discipleship of other members. As such, it is important that leaders affirm and agree to the following commitments and beliefs.

FOLLOW CHRIST – Must have a personal relationship with Jesus and a growing faith. (Matthew 4:19; 16:24; 2 Peter 3:18) *

UPHOLD SCRIPTURE – Must affirm that Scripture is God’s inspired, inerrant and infallible Word, and be committed to its teaching in all areas of life, as stated in the Baptist Faith and Message. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) *

AFFIRM THE BIBLICAL VIEW OF MARRIAGE, GENDER, AND BEHAVIOR – Warren honors and affirms marriage as established by God—a union between one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:31) In accordance with Scripture, sexual intimacy and sexual activity is appropriate only within the marriage relationship. (1 Corinthians 7:2; Hebrews 13:4) Warren believes God has created two distinct genders, male and female, each created within God’s perfect design. (Genesis 1:27; Matthew 19:4) To this end, all sexual preference and practice outside of these parameters’ dishonors God, His Word and His church. (1 Thessalonians 4:1-8) *

Additional notes:

No one who has evidence of abusing/neglecting/depriving children or adults or has intentionally or through gross negligent misconduct subjected any person to serious injury can work in our preschool.
No one who smokes or uses tobacco products can do so in child care areas in the preschool area or on the playground.
No one under the influence of controlled substances can be in the preschool area nor responsible for children.
