  • 2025-2026 Study Abroad

    The RIC World Connection Scholarship is a merit-based award offered through the RIC Study Abroad program in collaboration with the Office of Student Financial Aid.


    To be eligible for the RIC World Connection Scholarship, you must:

    • Be an American citizen or a Permanent Resident of the United States,
    • Be enrolled at Rhode lsland College
    • Have a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5,
    • Have completed a minimum of three semesters at Rhode lsland College (one semester minimum for transfer students),
    • Be in good standing with RlC,
    • Register to an approved study abroad degree-seeking program that has at least half-time equivalent enrollment.

    Applications for Fall 2025 Study Abroad are due by April 15, 2025.
    Applications for Spring 2026 Study Abroad are due by November15, 2025.

    Applications must include all required material and be emailed to StudyAbroad@ric.edu.

    Any incomplete or late applications will be automatically disqualified. Funds will only be distributed if travel and study abroad programs in the host country are authorized by the US Department of State.

  • Two Letters of Recommendation

    Two letters of Recommendation from Rhode lsland College faculty members are required and must be emailed to studyabroad@ric.edu.
  • Budget

    Complete the table below with the estimated expenses for your travels abroad. Give as much documentation as possible to support this budget. Consult and seek aid from the Study Abroad Office and the Office of Student Financial Aid at Rhode lsland College.
