Brooklyn Youth Chorus reunites with Joe Hisaishi to perform music from the Studio Ghibli films of Hayao Miyazaki at Tokyo Dome, a 55,000-seat stadium in Tokyo, Japan. Choristers will stay at the Tokyo Dome Hotel, located within walking distance of the venue in central Tokyo.

Upon arrival in Japan, choristers will enjoy three full days of sightseeing and group activities with a dedicated tour guide. The tour concludes with a working rehearsal at Tokyo Dome, followed by two performances on July 16 and 17.

Full Tour Fee: $4,300

March 1: $1,500 due
April 1: $1,800 due
May 1: $1,000 due

This all-inclusive fee covers airfare, 8 days/7 nights of accommodations, meals, and activities. The tour includes three working days and three full sightseeing/activity days. Choristers are responsible for their own personal spending money.

Passport Information
All choristers must provide valid passport details for travel. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date (January 18, 2026).

If your child's passport has expired or will expire before January 18, 2026, please begin the renewal process immediately to avoid travel disruptions.

Tour Code of Conduct

• BYC strives to create a positive and stimulating environment for its choristers and to foster an atmosphere of mutual respect. At no time will BYC tolerate rudeness, foul language, physical or verbal abuse, or failure to comply with safety guidelines. Alert attention, enthusiasm, and cooperation are expected during all chorus activities.
  
  
• Choristers who do not abide by BYC rules or behavioral standards will immediately be suspended from tour activities.
  
  
• BYC has a zero-tolerance policy regarding tobacco, alcohol, and non-prescription drug use. Anyone violating this policy will be removed from the group and sent home from the trip at the parents’ expense.

If your child's passport has expired or will expire before January 18, 2026, or you need to start the passport application process, please begin immediately to avoid travel disruptions.

We collect passport information (scan, expiration date, nationality) through JotForm, which uses SSL encryption. Data will be stored in a secured drive with restricted access and deleted after the tour concludes on July 18, 2025.
