Lynchburg Moore County Chamber of Commerce Membership Requirement:
This program is FREE for Lynchburg Chamber members.
- If you are not a member, you can join the Chamber as a small business ($100 per year) by clicking here.
- All food trucks must be active Chamber members by their first scheduled participation date.
Types of Trucks Allowed:
- No Barbeque Trucks
- No Mexican Food Trucks
- No Pizza Trucks
- The very point of the Food Truck Patio is to diversify the types of foods that are available in Lynchburg. We restrict the types of trucks based on what is already offered in Lynchburg. Further, it should be understood that our facility partners with and promotes dining options in Lynchburg, and will continue to do so.
Trash & Cleanliness Responsibilities:
- Food trucks are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Food Truck Patio area including whiping down tables after usage and keeping trash picked up throughout the day.
- All trash must be bagged and placed in designated receptacles.
Food Truck Patio Setup & Amenities:
- The patio will be equipped with picnic tables and umbrellas for guests.
- Drinks, ice cream, and restrooms will be available inside the Trailhead & Welcome Center.
Scheduling, Punctuality & Cancellations: Trucks are expected to arrive on time and adhere to their committed schedule. Any cancellations must be communicated in advance. Excessive no-shows may result in removal from the program.
Local Trucks: A local truck is a turkc that is based out of Moore County or surrounding counties. There will be one available space open to local trucks seven days a week.
Non-Local Trucks: Trucks that are based outside of our local area will have one available space open on our four "core days" only, which are Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Trucks are encouraged to promote their participation on social media. Collaboration posts are available through Experience Tennessee and the Tennessee Whiskey Trailhead.
Power & Setup: Trucks must be self-sufficient for power and utilities. Generators must be quiet and unobtrusive to maintain a comfortable atmosphere.
Permits & Compliance: Food trucks must comply with all local health, safety, and business licensing requirements. Proof of compliance may be requested.
Customer Experience: Food trucks should provide friendly service, quality food, and efficient operations to enhance the visitor experience. We’re excited to partner with food trucks to create an unforgettable dining experience for visitors at the Tennessee Whiskey Trailhead Food Truck Patio!
