RSVP for Voice Training & Bucket Drum Build w/ ResistanceBEATS and Melting Virgo
March 8, 11am-2pm @ Rhizome DC, 6950 Maple St. NW, Washington DC. This event will consist of learning how to project and protect your voice, singing of movement songs, PLUS a bucket drum build, and review of best practices when bucket drumming at actions. *ACCESSIBILITY NOTE* Rhizome has a ramp going up to the first floor but unfortunately there is no accessible bathroom. There is a Busboys and Poets & Starbucks a block away with accessible bathrooms.

What materials can you bring for building your own bucket drum? Please note this helps organizers know how many materials we will need to provide - if you cannot bring the materials listed below, we will be getting enough so everyone who wants a bucket drum will get one by the end of the training.

A bucket (suggested to either repurpose a bucket OR buy from ACE and not Lowe's or Home Depot - the larger your bucket, the deeper the sound)

A bungee cord or rope that fits comfortably around my waist
