Thank you for applying to sponsor through the Sponsor Circle Program!
The Sponsor Circle Program matches U.S. volunteers with Afghan allies stranded overseas and refugees who have already lawfully arrived in the United States and are in need of a warm welcome and community support.
This application is for groups who were previously certified through the Sponsor Circle Program or Welcome Corps.
- Certified Welcome Corps applications would have been fully reviewed and approved before January 21, 2025.
- Your group coordinator would have received an email with the subject line: Congratulations! [Your Sponsor Group Name] is Certified.
- Please note: If you applied to sponsor someone you know through the Welcome Corps, you cannot apply to welcome them through the Sponsor Circle Program. All refugee travel and overseas processing is currently supsended by the U.S. government.
If you applied for the Welcome Corps and did not receive an email that your application was certified, you should begin a new Sponsor Circle Program application at sponsorcircles.org/apply.
The application should take around 10 minutes to complete. Before you begin this form, please ensure all of your sponsor circle members have signed the Sponsor Commitment Form. You will need to download the PDF and open on your desktop to sign electronically, or you can print and scan a signed copy to upload.
