The workshop focuses on the history of the Qur'anic Script, and the study of Arabic paleography and orthography as it pertains to the Quranic script. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the historical and linguistic dimensions of the Qur'anic text theoretically and practically by learning how to write in Naskh script using a bamboo qalam and ink and you will take home your artwork along with the kit which includes the qalam, practice sheets, word codes and more.
