    Nominations Close: Friday, 2 May 2025, at 5:00 PM (late submissions will not be accepted without prior approval)
    Judging Period: Throughout May 2025
    Awards Ceremony: Wednesday, 18 June 2025, during National Volunteer Week

     

    Important Information for Nominators

    Before submitting your nomination, please keep the following in mind:

    • Each award category has its own separate nomination form – please double-check that you are filling out the correct one.
    • Provide as much detailed and relevant information as possible—judges can only assess nominations based on what is submitted.
    • Where possible, examples should be from the last 12 months, unless nominating for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
    • The individual or team being nominated must be actively volunteering within the Waikato district.
    • Ensure all contact details are included—nominations missing key information may not be accepted.

  • This award honours a volunteer who has made a significant and lasting contribution to their community over a lifetime. With at least 15 years of volunteer work in the Waikato region, this individual has dedicated their time, skills, and passion to one or more organisations, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those around them and the causes they support.
