    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.

    Other Information:

    – Class starts PROMPTLY at 7:30 a.m. plan to arrive by 7:15 a.m.

    – There are NO REFUNDS AFTER the 10 day drop period.

    – Lunch break is 30 minutes (There are often food trucks on campus)

    – We have a strict attendance policy; You can only miss a total of 5 days (~30 hours) for the ENTIRE program. Failure to adhere to attendance policy will result in dismissal from the program.

  • The Florida Board of Nursing is responsible for protecting the public. In carrying out this responsibility, the Board of Nursing reserves the right to deny licensure to anyone who has been convicted of a crime other than minor traffic violations. Pursuant to Section 456.0635, Florida Statutes, the Florida Board of Nursing shall refuse to issue a license, certification or registration and shall refuse to admit a candidate for examination if the applicant has been:

    • Convicted or plead guilty or nolo contender (No Contest) to a felony violation regardless of adjudication of chapters 409, 817 or 893, Florida Statutes; or 21 U.S.C. ss. 801- 970 or 42 U.S.S. ss 1395-1396, unless the sentence and any probation or pleas ended more than 15 years prior to the application.

    • Terminated for cause from Florida Medicaid Program (unless the applicant has been in good standing for the most recent five years).

    • Terminated for cause by any other State Medicaid Program or the Medicare Program (unless the termination was at least 20 years prior to the date of the application and the applicant has been in good standing with the program for the most recent five years).

  • Requirements Checklist

  • – Pass random drug screenings throughout the program. (Consequence of a Positive drug screen result is immediate withdrawal)

    – At least 18 years of age.

    – Have a highschool diploma or equivalent.

    – Copy of social security card with signature.

    – Copy of your birth certificate or naturalization papers.

    – Level 2 Background Check (Requires: Fingerprinting)

  • ALL COMPONENTS OF THE APPLICATION PACKET MUST BE SUBMITTED TO HANEY STUDENT SERVICES OFFICE BY: 

    1:00 PM ON JUNE 13, 2025.

    LATE OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

  • Uniforms

    Uniforms are REQUIRED on campus and during labs/clinicals.
  • MUST be in FULL UNIFORM on the first day of class.

     

    Cherokee Brand is Preferred. You may purchase your uniform from any store, but make sure it is the right color and style.

    Amazon and Wal-Mart also carry the "Cherokee" brand.

    All About Uniforms, offers a discount for Haney students.

     

    Style: Cherokee Infinity

    Color: Royal blue

    Bottoms: Need to be hemmed in the front, Touching the top of the shoe, But the back must not touch the ground. (No joggers)

    Socks: Plain, all white socks (Must cover the ankle)

    Shoes: Plain, all white leather shoes (NO open toed shoes, clogs, sling backs, or any form of shoe which exposes the foot.)

    Arm tattoos: White long sleeve undershirt (Required, if applicable)

    Haney Bookstore
  • Students (NEW AND RETURNING) are REQUIRED to purchase ALL BOOKS & KITS from the Haney Bookstore.*

    Pre-bought, or any equipment/materials outside of what is provided in the kit at Haney is NOT permitted.

  • Accepted applicants will receive an acceptance letter, followed by an invoice via email.

    The Financial Aid office will request any other financial aid documents needed and notify you of any financial assistance you will receive. 

    You must bring proof of any other grants, scholarships, or waivers in order to defer payment of tuition.
