    Food Booth Application
  • The Glennville Chamber of Commerce presents the 49th Annual:

     "Glennville Sweet Onion Festival"

    Saturday, May 9th, 2026 9AM-5PM

    Downtown Barnard St. in Glennville

Free Entry to the Festival Area; Food and Vendor costs will vary.

We invite local vendors of food, drinks, arts, and crafts, as well as games or activities for the whole family, to join us as we celebrate Glennville's busiest time of year, sweet onion season, together as a community.

Downtown businesses are encouraged to open their doors to festival attendees as well. *Businesses applying for the space directly in front of their building will be given first priority for spacing of vendors, assuming fees and application are returned prior to deadline.

  • If you would like to apply to be a vendor at the Glennville Sweet Onion Festival, please FULLY complete the form below and read ALL instructions and rules before submitting application.

After submission, you should receive an automated email verifying your application was received. If you do not receive this email, something went wrong.

Very important!! This email does not guarantee your spot!

Booth spaces will be approved and filled until the max number has been reached. Once all booth spaces have been filled, online payments will be turned off. Any applications received after that time will be placed on our waiting list. If booth space opens up, we will fill from this waiting list.

UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM THE CHAMBER SAYING YOUR BOOTH HAS BEEN APPROVED, YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT FULLY APPROVED/GUARANTEED.

As it gets closer to the festival, probably around the end of April, you will receive an additional email with your booth space and check-in instructions. These check-in instructions are MANDATORY for a smooth set-up, so please read them in FULL prior to festival day.

Failure to comply with these instructions, volunteer directions at check-in, and/or any of the rules or regulations below could result in being asked to leave the festival and/or not return next year, with no refund of fees.

IF YOU ARE AN ARTS & CRAFTS VENDOR, STOP HERE. THERE IS A SEPARATE APPLICATION FOR YOU.

  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • PLEASE READ ALL RULES BEFORE SUBMITTING APPLICATION:

    ·         Application is only considered complete once both signed paperwork and payment are received. Please send pictures of booth set-up and products offered. If you specify a smaller setup, then can not fit into the approved and allotted space, you may be asked to leave without fees refunded. Please be sure of your dimensions, there is no extra room between booth setups.

    ·         Downtown business owners receive first priority for the space(s) in front of their business, but still require the standard booth rental fee. Next priority will go to returning vendors in good standing. After their deadline passes, spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with special attention paid to products offered and special requests made. You will automatically be given the best available location at the time of placement. All remaining applications will go into a waiting list.

    ·         There must be something placed in each of your reserved booth spaces, even for downtown storefronts. Failure to do so can be a liability, as well as we like the festival to look full and inviting.

    ·         All spaces must be left as they were found. If anything (trash, tents, grease, etc…) is left behind, the vendor will be assessed a disposal fee of $35.00 and risk their ability to participate in future events. FOOD VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THEIR TRASH. Please plan to bring (2) trash receptacles for your booth. White barrels in the middle are for festival patrons, not vendor use. You are responsible for removing ALL trash, including grease, cardboard boxes, etc. at the end of the festival.

    ·         Vendors are only allowed to sell items that have been listed on the application and approved.

    ·         All vendor items (including extra inventory) must fit in designated booth space.

    ·         All vehicles must be out of the festival area by 7:00 AM the day of the festival and no vehicles will be allowed back in the festival area until 5:00 PM. Vehicles left in the festival area will be towed at owner’s expense.

    ·         No vendors may park inside the festival area. All vehicles should be parked in designated vendor parking. Food vendor parking will be in the paved lot behind Strickland’s Pharmacy. Arts & craft vendor parking will be in the Glennville Bank parking lot. Once parked in these lots, there may not be a way to leave before 5PM.

    ·         All vendors must stay until 5 PM the day of the festival. Leaving early will exclude you from future events.

    ·         The following items are strictly prohibited from sale or as awards or prizes: Any type of aerosols, Silly String, Stink Bombs, alcohol, fireworks of any type, weapons, toy cap pistols or caps, or anything deemed controversial, tasteless, or offensive by the festival staff. Any vendor selling these items will be closed down and no refunds of fees will be made.

    ·         No Refunds will be given for any reason. If the festival is rescheduled due to extreme weather conditions, booth locations may be honored on the rescheduled date.

    ·         Returned checks will incur a $30.00 processing fee in addition to the amount of the check. All fees remitted after April 30th must be in the form of cash or money order, or paid online via credit/debit card.

    ·         Violation of these rules may result in removal from the Glennville Sweet Onion Festival and denial of future participation in this event.

The Glennville Chamber of Commerce dba the Glennville Sweet Onion Festival Committee reserves the right to deny or refuse any applications without explanation.

The undersigned does hereby release and forever discharge the Glennville Chamber of Commerce, its principals, workers, volunteers, festival committee, as well as the City of Glennville, further referred to collectively as “Glennville Sweet Onion Festival”, from any responsibility whatsoever, for damages or loss in any part of, or all of, any exhibit, and gives the “Glennville Sweet Onion Festival” the right to refuse or terminate any exhibit if exhibit does not meet Festival Committee standards. The undersigned also understands that it is the responsibility of all vendors to purchase their own liability insurance. No weapons or toy weapons are allowed, and vendors are fully responsible for any Revenue/Sales Tax applicable for items sold at the Glennville Sweet Onion Festival.
