PAYMENT INFORMATION AND REFUND POLICY 

Fee Schedule 2025-2026

Methods of payment are:

E-TRANSFER (kandkdancedreamz@gmail.com)/ CHEQUE payable to K&K Dance Dreamz Inc./ CASH

THE CLASS FEES FOR THE SEASON (Sept.-June) ARE DIVIDED INTO 5 PAYMENTS.  

Fee Payment 1 + $50 ($44.25+HST) registration/membership fee per family (includes Recital recordings) : Registration Date 

Recreational Costume Payment: Oct. 15,  2025

Fee Payment 2: November 1, 2025

Fee Payment 3: January 1, 2026

Fee Payment 4: March 1, 2026

Fee Payment 5:  May 1, 2026

There is a non-refundable Registration/Membership Fee of $50.00 ($44.25+HST) per family due upon registration that is non-refundable.  This fee includes Recital recordings for both shows!

Sibling Discounts:

5% off class fees for additional siblings (not applicable for other fees including costumes, entry fees, ACR fees etc.)

Costumes:

There is a non-refundable $175 ($154.87+HST) flat costume fee required for each recreational costume due on Oct. 15, 2025. Costumes include any tights/accessories that are required.  Your costume fee also includes Picture Day photos! (*must be present at picture day scheduled time, no refunds for absences)

BOYS: Costume fee is not applicable.  You will be billed for any costume items purchased and photo portion in the spring before Picture Day.

Competitive group costume deposits of $225 for each routine are due on Aug. 15, 2025.  

Additional Competitive Routine Fees & ACR Costume Deposits ($225 per routine where applicable) are due Sept. 30, 2025. 

Refunds/Cancellation policy:

Your registration is for a September-June program including recital participation (exception technique only classes – no recital).  If you must discontinue the program at any time, you must give written notice (e-mail) 30 days prior to the next fee payment due date.  Class fees are non-refundable after a fee payment has been made.  All Costume Fees are non-refundable.  Class changes/cancellations made by registrant after initial registration are subject to a $30.00 non-refundable admin charge. Fees will not be refunded for classes taken. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes or student absences regardless of length.  

K&K Dance Dreamz Inc. reserves the right to cancel any class on a temporary or permanent basis due to emergency, mandated closure, restrictions, weather conditions, or low enrollment.  Weather cancellation notices will be posted on our website (kandkdance.ca), Instagram and Facebook pages so check on days of inclement weather (no makeups for weather cancellations unless the same day of the week is involved more than once).  Individual e-mails/calls will not be made but notices will be posted by 3 pm weekdays/8 am weekends.   

Make-up classes are not guaranteed for student personal absences, but may be pre-arranged for an approved alternate class where available (before March Break).  Students may also make up missed classes (no additional charge) during our "Bonus Week" after the Recital, where they can attend unlimited classes for their age/level.

Late Payments and Administration Fees:

A $30 late fee will be automatically added to your account on the 15th of the month fees are due if fees are not received.  Reminders will not be issued. 

All returned cheques, alternate payment date arrangements and class changes/cancellations made by registrant after initial registration are subject to a $30.00 non-refundable service charge.

Payment Arrangements:

It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to ensure all payments are made to K&K Dance Dreamz on or by specified due dates.  K&K Dance Dreamz is not responsible for arranging payments made by more than one parent/guardian.  Only one copy of invoices/statements will be distributed.

I understand and have read "Health & Safety Protocols" posted on the K&K Dance Dreamz Website "Health & Safety" page and agree to adhere.  *may be updated as guidelines change

Any protocols when applicable are listed in our "Health & Saftety Protocols" on our website www.kandkdance.ca. (See "Health & Safety" page) These protocols may be adjusted as needed.  Please read our Protocols thoroughly before attending the facility.

 

 

CLASS HYBRID MODEL/CLASS CANCELLATION

In the event we are not able to run classes in person at the studio at any point during the season for an extended period due to an Emergency declaration, mandated extended closure or other circumstance beyond our control, classes will run as regularly scheduled online/remotely,  following the same payment plan.  Refunds will not be given.  Be aware that any classes may run remotely to allow this at home/in person learning option when deemed necessary by studio.  Recital may be cancelled, postponed for a later date or plans may be made to hold a virtual/in-studio/alternate version.  Scheduling times may be adjusted if needed through the season as any guidelines are modified.  

Any online classes including Zoom classes and those held on our “K&K Dance Dreamz Virtual Studio” private facebook group are expressly for the use by students of K&K Dance Dreamz Inc.  Any persons using Zoom/K&K Dance Dreamz Virtual Studio or any other format for online dance classes holds harmless K&K Dance Dreamz Inc. and any and all teachers, faculty, and staff from injury resulting from usage of Zoom or any remote/online classes. Guardians and students must ensure that they have a safe area to dance in, clear of any obstructions and/or large objects, and must also ensure surfaces are not slippery.  It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure a suitable space free of hazards in which to practice and that dancers participate in the appropriate level so they do not practice incorrectly or risk injury.  Any Zoom/online links provided to you are for currently registered students of K&K Dance Dreamz Inc. These links must not be shared with anyone who is not a registered student. K&K Dance Dreamz Inc. classes can not be recorded or screen captured at all times unless permission of the Directors is given.  Nothing is to be shared or downloaded.  To ensure safety and security, 2-way video must be maintained at all times for all zoom dance classes.  It is the responsibility to the guardian to ensure that the participant is clearly visible from head to toe.  

 

RECEIVING IMPORTANT INFORMATION

K&K Dance Dreamz Inc. will e-mail newsletters throughout the season.  Please ensure you have an accurate e-mail address and primary phone contact # on file with the office.  You are responsible for keeping up to date with important info sent.  All newsletters are also posted on our website (kandkdance.ca) under the login section.  Studio calendar of important dates is also posted on our website.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO RELEASE

Each student and his/her legal guardian(s) hereby release to K&K DANCE DREAMZ INC. the rights to all photography and video that may be taken by or for K&K DANCE DREAMZ INC. during classes at the studio or online or at performances/competitions for use in K&K DANCE DREAMZ INC. advertising and promotion, including television coverage, website, social media platforms, print advertising or for archiving.  K&K DANCE DREAMZ INC. may choose not to use any videos or photos at this time, but may do so at it's own discretion at a later date.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING.

Completed waivers must be returned prior to entry and use of K&K Dance Dreamz Inc’s facilities.

By signing below, the Dancer (named below) and/or the Dancer’s Guardian understands and acknowledges, the risks, dangers, and hazards which are inherent while participating in dance; whether joining online classes or in-person or by travelling to and from and participating in competitions and/or performances (the “Activity”) and on entering all lands, properties, facilities, structures, installations, vehicles or equipment owned, leased, operated or otherwise controlled by K&K Dance Dreamz Inc. (the “Premises”), which risks include, but are not limited to: the potential for bodily injury or illness (including contraction of COVID-19); contact or interaction with others who may have been exposed to COVID-19; close proximity to or contact with surfaces, equipment, fixtures, or other objects that, despite K&K Dance Dreamz’s efforts, may be infected with COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses; permanent disability, paralysis, or loss of life; collision with natural or manmade objects; tripping hazards; imperfect venue; equipment failure; dancers of varying skill levels; the negligent use of the Premises by others; inadequate safety measures or unsafe Premises; other circumstances known, unknown or beyond the control of Kyla Dixon, Kimberly Majid,  K&K Dance Dreamz Inc., its owners, partners, affiliates, directors, employees, agents, dance and program instructors, officers or volunteers (together, the “Releasees”); or negligence or omission of the Releasees (collectively, the “Risks”).

I confirm that I have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability.  I sign this waiver and release of liability voluntarily without any inducement, assurance, or warranty being made to me.

In consideration for allowing the Dancer to participate in the Activity or use the Premises, the Dancer and/or the Dancer’s Guardian: (a) release, discharge and forever hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liability for damages or loss arising as a result of the Risks arising from participation in the Activity or entry into or use of the Premises; (b) waive any right to sue the Releasees in respect of all causes of action (including for injuries or illness caused by their own negligence), claims, damages or losses of any kind that may arise as a result of the Risks or in connection with participation in the Activity or entry into or use of the Premises, including without limitation the right to make a third party claim or claim over against the Releasees arising from the same; and (c) freely assumes all risks associated with the Risks or anything incidental to the Risks, which may arise as a result of or in connection with use of the Premises. YOU ARE GIVING UP LEGAL RIGHTS TO ANY AND ALL FUTURE CLAIMS AGAINST K&K DANCE DREAMZ INC. AND THE RELEASEES.
