OVERVIEW

Very Young Composers (VYC) Summer Intensive serves children age 8 and older. All young composers will have the opportunity to use composing as a tool for self-expression and discovery, eventually hearing their original musical works rehearsed and performed by professional ensembles!

ONLINE ATTENDANCE

While we strongly encourage students to attend the VYC Summer Intensive in person, we understand families may be traveling around this time and may want their children to attend online. If that is the case, please complete the online attendance portion below.

REGISTRATION

If this is your first time registering for a VYC after school program (Bridge Program or Summer Intensive), please select the option to schedule a short meeting with you, your child, and Matthew Tommasini (Director, Very Young Composers Program) via Zoom to give you the opportunity to learn more about the Program and for us to get to know your child and their background.

A background in music is not required. There is NO TUITION FEE to participate in this program.
