Acknowledgement of Nondisclosure Agreement Requirement

As a volunteer with Murder Creek Media, you may have access to sensitive case information and internal business operations. It is essential to maintain the confidentiality of all information you encounter during your volunteer work. Sharing, distributing, or discussing any case-related or business information without explicit written consent is strictly prohibited.

Unauthorized disclosure of any confidential information will result in immediate termination of your volunteer position and legal action to the fullest extent of the law. Before gaining access to any sensitive materials, all volunteers must sign a legally binding Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA) to ensure the protection of this information.

Code of Conduct and Ethics Agreement

As a volunteer with Murder Creek Media, you represent our organization and its mission to uncover the truth through ethical investigation and storytelling. We expect all volunteers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, respect, and integrity throughout their involvement.

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and commit to the following principles:

• Professionalism: Conduct yourself with honesty, accountability, and diligence in all tasks and interactions. Adhere to deadlines, communicate effectively, and represent the organization positively.
• Respect: Treat all individuals—fellow volunteers, staff, interviewees, and the public—with compassion, empathy, and respect, regardless of their background or beliefs.
• Integrity: Maintain ethical standards in all research, communication, and reporting. Uphold the truth without bias or manipulation. Ensure all information is handled responsibly and lawfully.

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in termination of your volunteer position.

Liability Waiver

I understand that volunteering with Murder Creek Media is a voluntary, unpaid role. I acknowledge that I am participating of my own free will and assume all risks associated with my volunteer activities. I agree to release and hold harmless Murder Creek Media, its employees, directors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages that may arise from my volunteer work.

I understand that this waiver applies to any injury, loss, or damage incurred during my volunteer service, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. I also acknowledge that I am not entitled to any compensation, benefits, or insurance coverage in connection with my volunteer activities.
