Headstart Preschool Registration Form 2025-2026

The Children's Centre is funded by Public Health Agency of Canada and United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo. In-kind support is provided by many individuals and organizations.
Preschool classes run from 9:15-11:15 AM or 1:15-3:15 P.M. Both classes run Monday-Thursday, September to May with scheduled breaks throughout the year.

Please note: The cost of using The Children's Centre Transportation is $50 per month. This is to be paid at the begininning of each month. If fees are not paid, service will be discontinued.

In the event that I cannot be contacted immediately, medical or surgical treatment can be administered to my child in the case of an accident or emergency, as prescribed by a physician, and hold The Children's Centre and its employees harmless.

- I understand that the provider can only administer prescription medications.

Field Trips and Outings/ Media Release
Our Preschool goes to parks and outdoor playgrounds. We will also be going on nature walks and short trips to businesses and other points of interest in the community. Field trip permission forms will be sent home for all field trips that require transportation.

Pictures and Videotaping within the Centre

Throughout the course of the school year, your child's teachers will be taking pictures of your child engaging in preschool activities. We display these pictures in the Centre as well as post them on our Social Media pages.

Also on occasion, parents and The Children's Centre staff will be videotaping special events in the preschool.
