2026 New Farmer Expansion Grant

Purpose
The New Farmer Expansion Grant was created through the generous support of a local donor to support new and beginning farmers in Trumbull County. The purpose of this $1,500 grant is to help offset farm operation costs. This can include but is not limited to: fuel costs, fertilizer costs, equipment costs, land rent, etc. The appropriate use of funds will be left up to the determination of the donor.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must be a Trumbull County Resident.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to provide supporting documentation proving intent to farm
should it be requested by the Trumbull County Board of Trustees and/or donor.
