  • PART 1: REGISTRATION

  • Please Read This Carefully!

It is strongly recommended that you purchase Trip Cancellation/ Interruption insurance and additional Cancel for Any Reason Coverage. Such a plan at a minimum should cover Trip Cancellation or Interruption, Cancel for Any Reason, Medical Expense, Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, and Baggage.

Travel protection plans can help protect you in the event of loss of non-refundable trip deposits and payments that result from cancellation or trip interruption (due to a covered reason such as injury or illness before or during the trip). It also helps with reimbursement for medical emergency costs (including very costly medical evacuation costs), missed connections and baggage loss. It can also cover additional fees incurred for changes or rescheduling. Purchasing coverage may be limited by time constraints so it is imperative that you purchase protection as soon as possible after booking.

Declining travel protection plan coverage could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. You acknowledge that without this coverage, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs or expenses incurred. If you choose to travel without adequate coverage, we will not be liable for any of your losses however arising, for which trip protection plan coverage would otherwise have been available.

AT THE TIME OF FIRST PAYMENT:

I understand that Travel Protection Coverage can protect me from possible loss of money due to supplier bankruptcy/default, unexpected trip cancellation/interruption due to accident, sickness or death, baggage loss, medical expenses, and emergency air transportation costs that other insurance, policies and credit card programs may not cover.

I understand that I must purchase Travel Insurance immediately to obtain maximum insurance coverage.

I understand that if I cancel my trip for any reason, I may be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

I understand that Akhet Tours, Inc., Cultural Heritage African Tours or HAPI Inc. has advised me of the importance of such insurance, and I will not hold them responsible for any risks or lost funds.

I understand that if I do not obtain a valid Ghanaian visa or fail to receive the required Yellow Fever vaccination, Akhet Tours, Inc., Cultural Heritage African Tours or HAPI Inc. is not liable for any resulting consequences, including denied entry or trip disruptions.

By signing this form, I confirm that I do not expect Akhet Tours, Inc., Cultural Heritage African Tours or HAPI Inc. to assist me in any way if my trip is cancelled or delayed for any covered reason.
