CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH RE-OPENED 2025 – 2026 EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 10, 2025 – 5:00 PM
Educational Scholarships are available to residents of the City of Riviera Beach who meet the required criteria to qualify for consideration.

Applicants offered a scholarship must submit official verification of full-time enrollment at an accredited College, University, or Trade/Technical School by no later than January 30, 2026.

Required Qualification Criteria: (Please use check marks to denote compliance.)
1. Must be a resident of the City of Riviera Beach.
2. Must possess a minimum of 2.0 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).
3. Must provide proof of Community Service completed within the last 12 months.
4. Must agree to provide a minimum of twenty (20) hours of Community Service to the City of Riviera Beach within twelve (12) months of notice of the award or as determined by the City.
5. Must complete ALL sections of the application. (Incomplete applications will not be considered.)

1. Must provide proof of residency.
2. Must provide a current Official Electronic or Sealed Transcript (High School, College, University, Technical, or Trade School).
3. Must provide a current Resume that includes High School/College achievements, organizational affiliations, community service activities, and any other activities applicant is involved in.
4. Must provide a current typed one (1) page single-spaced essay stating why applicants should be awarded a scholarship to include career and educational aspirations.(Essay must include Applicant’s name.)
5. Must provide three (3) signed letters of recommendation that are dated January 1, 2025, or later.
A personal interview with the applicant may be required.
