What is CYIA?
Thank you for your interest in attending CYIA! We’re excited about CYIA training school this year.

Important Dates to note:

4/15 Interview Form Deadline and start fundraising. Camp is $550 and we have a simple fundraising tool that will help you raise almost $500 towards your camp fees.

4/18 Registration Deadline with the State

4/18 $100 non-refundable application fee paid to CEF of Kitsap

5/3 Pre-Camp Training (all day Saturday event, we feed you well and you'll meet a bunch of CYIA'ers)

6/7 Kitsap Homework Party (in Port Orchard)

6/7 $450 Camp Fee Balance Due to CEF of Kitsap (optional)

6/20 - 6/28 CYIA This year, camp is 9 Days

The purpose of CYIA Training Camp is to disciple dedicated Christian trainees, seeking to equip them to become effective children’s evangelists, primarily through the ministry of 5-Day Clubs®. You'll attend a LOT of classes and have a LOT of fun. It's hard work, but we help you and encourage you and then celebrate what God does through you.

At CYIA, you learn to teach the 5-Day Clubs, but what is a 5-Day Club?
5. During 5-Day Clubs® there are a variety of activities. Which ones would you enjoy doing? Examples: telling the Bible story, singing, playing games, motivating children to join in?
6. CYIA involves learning how to teach lessons to children. Tell me about your school experience: How do you learn best (for instance: listening, writing, speaking, doing)?
