  • Solano County Farm Bureau Ag Education Foundation 2025 Scholarship Opportunity

    This year the Solano County Farm Bureau Ag Education Foundation will be offering seven scholarships, one at $2,500.00, two at $1,000.00 two at $500.00 and two at $250.00. The scholarships are open to all Solano County high school students that plan to enroll as a full-time student at a community college or University, and/or an undergraduate student whose hometown is in Solano County.  
  • Eligibility

  • Eligibility to apply for the scholarship is based on the following:

    A. Student must live or hometown is in Solano County;

    B. Studentmust be a senior currently enrolled in a public or private high school in Solano County; or enrolled in any community college or university;

    C. Student should have an average to above-average academic record;

    and D. Students must be pursuing career and educational opportunities in agriculture or a related field of study.

    Applicants will be evaluated on their highschool records and/or college transcript grades, extracurricular activities,statement of purpose and completeness of application.

    All applications must be received on or before 5:00 PM, Friday April 18th, 2025. Applicants will be notified of the results sometime in May and we will be honoring the winners at our Annual Summer Fundraiser July 26, 2025 at Bally Keal Estates in Fairfield. Scholarships will be sent to the winners’ school of record.
