  • Lesson Requirements

At Wild Horse Ranch, we strive to provide a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding experience for all riders. To ensure the safety and respect of our horses, instructors, and fellow riders, the following policies must be adhered to:

    Dress Code

Proper attire is mandatory and includes:

    • Jeans or breeches.
    • Boots with a heel (no sneakers or sandals).
    • An ASTM-approved riding helmet (bike helmets are not acceptable).

    Lesson Duration

    • Lessons are 60 minutes long and begin at the scheduled time.
    • Each lesson incorporates grooming, tacking, lunging (if necessary), and riding.

    Arrival Time

    • Riders are expected to arrive early to allow enough time for grooming and tacking up their horse.
    • Late arrivals will result in reduced riding time as lessons will still conclude at the scheduled end time. No make-up time will be provided for student tardiness.
    • Full payment is required for the lesson regardless of tardiness or reduced riding time.

    Respect and Conduct

    • Respect for the horses, instructors, and equipment is required at all times.
    • Any misuse of equipment or inappropriate behavior toward horses, staff, or fellow riders is strictly prohibited.

    Consequences of Non-Compliance

    • Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the suspension or termination of lesson privileges.

We thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a safe and respectful environment at Wild Horse Ranch. If you have any questions or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your instructor or our staff.

    • Monthly payments secure your time slot each week during the month.

    Individual Lesson Payments

    • Individual lesson payments do not guarantee your time slot each month, as priority is given to those who pay monthly. Your lesson will be scheduled based on availability.

    Training Rides/Lessons

    • Training rides/lessons are available for horses boarded at our facility and are conducted by our instructors.
    • The rate for a training ride is $80 per session.
