
Khangser Rinpoche
Khangser Rinpoche, born in Kathmandu, Nepal, was recognized at age 5 as the reincarnation of the Seventh Khangser Rinpoche. He studied Buddhist philosophy extensively, achieving high honors and a Geshe Lharampa degree. He founded the Dipkar Vajrayana Institute and Thangkar Dechen Choeling Monastic Institute, focusing on providing education and care for underprivileged children in Nepal. Rinpoche established Dipkar Food for the Poor to feed the hungry in Vietnam and Mongolia. Renowned for his teachings and compassion, he ascended to the position of Vice Abbot at Gyuto Monastery in 2023 and is set to become the Abbot, leading millions in the Gelug tradition.
