Are you a college student eager to delve into the field of sports analytics? Join the Pacific Empire League (PEL), a premier showcase for collegiate baseball talent, as an Analytics Intern. Engage with the world of professional baseball analytics through Trackman, our league's exclusive ball and player tracking system. Trackman's advanced 3D Doppler radar technology is the chosen tool across MLB and elite NCAA programs, offering unparalleled precision in real-time game data.

Whether working from home or attending games in person as your location permits, you will have a flexible and impactful internship experience.

Responsibilities May Include:

- Analyze team and player performance using Trackman data, primarily from your own home, with the option to attend games if feasible.

- Compile insightful reports and analyses that influence team strategies and league decisions.

- Participate in special projects that contribute to the league's operations and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled as a college student or a recent graduate, majoring in Sports Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Graphic Design, or related fields.

- Proficient with data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL, with experience in Trackman preferred or a demonstrated ability to quickly master new technologies.

- Strong understanding of baseball rules, strategy, and a genuine interest in sports analytics.

- Excellent communication and time management skills, capable of working independently and meeting deadlines effectively.

Additional Information:

This is an unpaid, remote/hybrid internship, primarily requiring a stable internet connection and personal computer.

Flexible scheduling, centered around weekly deliverables.
