Each day brings a new scientific adventure, carefully crafted to be fun, educational, and hands-on.
------------------------------------------------------------
Monday – Engineering
We kick off the week with a day of engineering challenges and creative building. Children will learn about structure and design by constructing super-strong towers and then putting them to the test in demolition activities. They’ll discover the genius behind Leonardo Da Vinci’s bridge as they build their own self-supporting model. Each child will also choose an engineering kit to build and take home—options include dinosaurs, cars, boats, trebuchets, or planes.
Tuesday – Chemical & Polymers Crazy
Tuesday is all about chemistry and slime! We’ll be experimenting with different types of slimes and putties—glow-in-the-dark, edible, butter, and more—while learning how polymers behave. Children will create stretchy chemical worms, make their own bath bombs, erupt handmade volcanoes, and explore fizzing reactions with fun experiments like the classic Coke and Mentos fountain. Our bubble science workshop will teach them how to make huge bubbles, bouncing bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, and even square ones! The session ends with a magical dry ice segment where we create bubbling potions, fruity explosions, and delicious sorbet made on the spot.
Wednesday – Rockets
Midweek is for aspiring astronauts! On Rocket Day, children will learn about propulsion, aerodynamics, and launch science by designing and testing a range of rockets. We’ll build and launch straw rockets, balloon rockets, film canister rockets, stomp rockets, and water rockets—culminating in a thrilling real rocket launch finale. If the weather is hot, we’ll head to the park for a water balloon slingshot session!
Thursday – Electronics
Thursday is packed with invention and discovery as we delve into the world of electricity and circuits. Children will experiment with static electricity using light tubes and build working circuits to power inventions of their own design—whether it's a motor boat, a fan, or a mini car. They’ll also get to create their own glowing light sabres and finish the session by designing and decorating a take-home robot, blending science with creativity and imagination.
Friday – Spy Quest Adventure
We wrap up each week with our legendary Spy Quest Adventure Day. In true Bear Grylls style, kids will tackle outdoor challenges like den building and scavenger hunts before taking part in a high-energy spy-themed quest. They'll crack secret codes, solve cryptex puzzles, reveal hidden messages, and follow a trail of clues on a thrilling treasure hunt. Along the way, they’ll compete in Nerf gun battles and stomp rocket games, working in teams to uncover the treasure and claim their prize. It's the perfect grand finale to a week of scientific fun.
