FFA chapters across Washington come together each year for the Annual Washington FFA State Convention. The primary purpose of the convention is for chapter delegates to gather and make decisions on behalf of their FFA chapter that affect all FFA members. The delegate process is conducted solely in person and each chapter has the opportunity to select 1 official voting delegate and 1 alternate delegate to participate in the delegate process and vote on behalf of their chapter on delegate business (approval of previous minutes, financial report, program of activities, and additional items submitted). The official delegate and alternate can both serve on committee work connected to the delegate process, but only one individual is allowed to vote on behalf of each chapter.
Once items of business are submitted by chapters for delegates to consider additional information will be provided by the Washington FFA Association for all delegates registered. A delegate handbook with all information related to committee work and items of business will also be made available. To ensure all delegates receive important information and updates make sure all contact information is included on the registration form.
