Zola’s Avondale Cafe is looking for skilled and passionate Mixologists and Baristas to join our team! We are a community-centered cafe that blends Afro-Latino flavors into our food and beverage offerings. If you have a talent for crafting exceptional drinks, engaging with customers, and working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and handcrafted cocktails
Create signature beverages that align with our Afro-Latino culinary theme
Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Follow proper drink preparation techniques, portion control, and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and coffee station
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and tracking beverage sales
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience as a mixologist, bartender, or barista
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and/or craft cocktail techniques
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for quality beverages
Must be 21+ for the mixologist position and have knowledge of responsible alcohol service
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
