Zola’s Avondale Cafe – Cincinnati, OH
Zola’s Avondale Cafe is looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Front of House staff, including Servers, Cashiers, Bussers, and Hostesses, to join our vibrant team! We are a community-centered cafe that blends Afro-Latino flavors with warm hospitality. If you love engaging with people, providing exceptional service, and working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Servers: Take orders, deliver food and drinks, and provide excellent table service
Cashiers: Process transactions, handle customer inquiries, and ensure accurate order fulfillment
Bussers: Keep tables and dining areas clean and organized, assist with resetting tables
Hostesses: Greet and seat guests, manage waitlists, and create a welcoming atmosphere
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all front-of-house areas
Deliver outstanding customer service with a positive and professional attitude
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation
Qualifications:
Previous customer service or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required—we’re willing to train the right candidates!
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
