MACES Elections Fall 2025 Nomination Form

The McGill Association of Continuing Education Students is looking to fill three vacant positions on the MACES Executive Board:

VP Finance
VP Academic
VP Internal/Secretary

Are you the right person for the job?

You have from Wednesday, september 14th, until Wednesday, october 4th, 2025, to submit your candidacy.

If you are a student supporting a candidate running for one of the open position(s), please complete This Form instead.

1. Before we start, tell us who you are by giving us your full legal name.

2. You must be a current McGill SCS learner. Please provide us with your McGill ID.

3. What is your program of study at the McGill School of Continuing Studies?

Give us all the details: Diploma/Certificate, then field of study.

4. When is your expected graduation date?

Subject to verification. As per the MACES by-laws, this is a two-year position (preferred minimum is serving at least a full academic year). If you are approaching graduation, you may not be eligible to run in this election.

Your nomination platform is a maximum 500-word document that tells us why you should be elected, what makes you the ideal candidate, and what you want to do to make a difference for Continuing Studies learners at McGill SCS. This statement will be posted on the MACES website and will be used to promote your candidacy. Word and PDF format accepted. (FYI – we will only publish the first 500 words, make sure to stay within the word limit).

This image will be used for promotional purposes and will be posted on the MACES website and on social media. Please make sure to submit a high-res image with you alone, and not with other individuals cut out.

9. This is a professional role and you will be representing MACES and interacting with the upper administration at McGill. Please upload your CV.
