Age Eligibility Rules – Basketball Tournament

All teams must carry proper documentation to verify player eligibility at all times. While we will not routinely check documents, they will be required if a team is formally protested or challenged. The team initiating the protest must also provide documentation for their players.

Acceptable forms of proof include, but are not limited to: school ID, birth certificate, report card, passport, or California ID.

Additionally, we reserve the right to speak directly with the challenged player(s) to confirm that their information matches the provided documentation.

TEAM WAIVERSCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN TO ACCEPT THE AGREEMENT. I hereby give my consent for my organization/team to participate in GSG Tournaments and extra curricular activities. I declare that the members of my organization/team are in good physical condition. I acknowledge and agree that attending or participating in sports may be hazardous and may result in injury. I further agree that I assume all risks of injury for myself, my organization/team and anyone who comes with me to the premises incurred or suffered while upon the premises or as a result of using the facilities or equipment therein. I further expressly agree to release GSG Tournaments s, its owners, employees, agents, successors, assigns, affiliates and anyone else associated with GSG Tournaments , from any and all claims, demands or damages whatsoever, whether developed or undeveloped, known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, have, now or in the future, including, but not limited to any and all claims, demands or damages for negligence, personal injury and/or loss, theft or destruction of personal property. It is my intention that this release be as broad as California law allows releases of this sort to be. I also give GSG Tournaments the right to copyright and/or publish, reproduce, or otherwise use my players' name, voice, and likeness and/or photographs, and audiovisual recordings that include my child for instruction, advertising, program website, publications or brochures, or any other lawful purpose whatsoever. I hereby agree to relinquish all rights, title and interest I may have in the finished product and waive all rights to any compensation thereof. I further agree to save, hold harmless, and indemnify GSG Tournaments, its owners, employees, agents, successors, assigns, affiliates, and anyone else associated with GSG Tournaments , from any and all claims, demands or damages, including cost, interest and attorneys’ fees which they may suffer or incur as a result of any claims by me, my team/organization and anyone who comes with me to the premises, or related entities, and/or as a result of any claims, demands or lawsuits arising out of my actions or those of anyone who comes with me to the premises.I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING RELEASE, I FULLY UNDERSTAND IT, AND I/WE AGREE TO BE BOUND BY IT.
